Google Vacation Rentals and TripAdvisor are search and metasearch channels: they show your property, rates and availability to travelers who have not decided where to book. Optimizing them means accurate listing content and photos, rate parity and availability across channels, and a direct booking link that is competitive with the OTAs.
Aruba sells mostly through Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com. Short-term rental revenue on these islands comes from long stays and early bookings. US families usually book 5 to 7 nights months in advance for winter, and Dutch guests often stay two weeks or more in summer. We price weekly rates first, then adjust nightly, protect Carnival and holiday weeks with minimum stays, and keep autumn discounts shallow because the weather holds. Villas in Noord or near Jan Thiel benefit from separate pricing for large families and groups.
Airbnb and Vrbo lead for condos and villas, with Vrbo particularly strong among US families booking whole homes. Booking.com matters most for Dutch and European guests and for Curaçao. We keep weekly pricing consistent across all three, use Vrbo for long family stays, and show beach distance and dive or windsurf access clearly in every listing.
The full service is described on our other ota optimization page; this page covers how it applies in Aruba.
