An Airbnb pricing strategy is the set of rules that decide what each night is worth: base, minimum and maximum prices, seasonal profiles, event premiums, minimum stays, gap-night and last-minute rules, length-of-stay discounts and per-channel markups. A pricing tool applies the rules; the strategy is what makes the tool useful. Airbnb Smart Pricing is not a strategy: it optimizes for Airbnb's fill rate, ignores other channels and has no event or gap-night logic.
Demand drivers in Lombok: Bali overflow and surf season in Kuta Lombok; Gili island travel; MotoGP at Mandalika; Diving and Rinjani trekking. Typical guests: European and Australian travellers on 4 to 7 night stays. Where the work starts: Dry-season premiums, event weeks, and rainy-season floors.
Guests usually split a Lombok trip between a Gili and the mainland, so stays are shorter than in Bali. We set three or four night minimums in peak months and two nights in the shoulder season. MotoGP week gets the highest premium of the year in Kuta Lombok, with longer minimums. Listings should explain boat transfers, airport distance and surf access clearly, because getting there drives the booking decision.
The full service is described on our airbnb pricing strategy page; this page covers how it applies in Lombok.
