Google Vacation Rentals and TripAdvisor are search and metasearch channels: they show your property, rates and availability to travelers who have not decided where to book. Optimizing them means accurate listing content and photos, rate parity and availability across channels, and a direct booking link that is competitive with the OTAs.
Bordeaux sells mostly through Airbnb, Booking.com and Abritel. For Bordeaux Airbnb pricing, the night cap on primary residences changes the job completely. If your nights are limited, we spend them where they earn most: en primeur week, May bank holidays, harvest weekends and stadium event dates. Fully authorised units can price every night, with a three-night minimum in summer and a lighter two-night rule midweek in winter. Wine-tour groups value parking and a second bathroom, so listings with both deserve a visible premium.
Airbnb leads for apartments and Booking.com for hotels and short city-breaks. Abritel, the French arm of Vrbo, still matters for French families booking larger flats and houses. We keep pricing aligned across all three, highlight tram access and air conditioning in listing copy, and use Booking.com Genius and mobile rates selectively in winter rather than all year.
The full service is described on our other ota optimization page; this page covers how it applies in Bordeaux.
