Google Vacation Rentals and TripAdvisor are search and metasearch channels: they show your property, rates and availability to travelers who have not decided where to book. Optimizing them means accurate listing content and photos, rate parity and availability across channels, and a direct booking link that is competitive with the OTAs.
Île de Ré sells mostly through Abritel/Vrbo, Airbnb and Booking.com. On Île de Ré, short-term rental revenue rests on full summer weeks and a ring of long weekends from Easter to October. We open July and August a year ahead with weekly minimums, price the island's limited supply firmly and keep bike storage and parking visible. In La Rochelle, apartments behave like city stock, so we layer Francofolies, Grand Pavois and rugby weekends onto a steady base of two or three night breaks.
Abritel, the French face of Vrbo, remains the leading channel for island family houses booked by the week. Airbnb sells city apartments and smaller island homes, while Booking.com carries La Rochelle hotels, short stays and travellers arriving by TGV. We keep weekly minimums and changeover days identical across platforms during July and August.
The full service is described on our other ota optimization page; this page covers how it applies in Île de Ré.
