Google Vacation Rentals and TripAdvisor are search and metasearch channels: they show your property, rates and availability to travelers who have not decided where to book. Optimizing them means accurate listing content and photos, rate parity and availability across channels, and a direct booking link that is competitive with the OTAs.
Izmir sells mostly through Booking.com, Airbnb and Turkish OTAs. In Çeşme and Alaçatı, Airbnb revenue comes from Turkish families booking weekly summer stays and couples booking weekends. We set weekly minimums from early July to late August, price Bayram dates as their own events and make sure weekend nights cost more than weekdays all season. In Izmir, city flats compete for weekday stays from business and fair visitors, so we keep shorter minimums and lift rates around fair and congress dates.
Turkish OTAs such as Etstur, Tatilbudur and Jolly Tur matter for domestic families, often with instalment payment options that suit summer holidays. Booking.com and Expedia carry international and business guests, especially in Izmir. Airbnb is strong for Alaçatı houses and Çeşme apartments. We keep parity across Turkish and international channels and adjust for the domestic habit of booking close to Bayram dates.
