Google Vacation Rentals and TripAdvisor are search and metasearch channels: they show your property, rates and availability to travelers who have not decided where to book. Optimizing them means accurate listing content and photos, rate parity and availability across channels, and a direct booking link that is competitive with the OTAs.
Lille sells mostly through Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. For Lille Airbnb listings, Fridays and Saturdays carry the year. We set higher weekend floors for Eurostar and Belgian guests, add a Sunday-night discount to stretch two-night stays, and price the Braderie weekend early with a minimum stay. Hosts whose main residence is capped should spend their nights on the Braderie, December weekends and big congress weeks. Proximity to Lille Europe or a metro stop deserves a visible line in the listing title.
Booking.com is the strongest OTA for Lille hotels and short stays, especially with Belgian, Dutch and British travellers. Airbnb leads for Vieux-Lille apartments, and Vrbo plays a smaller role. We keep parity, use Booking.com mobile rates for last-minute weekend searches, and mention Eurostar travel time from London in listing copy.
The full service is described on our other ota optimization page; this page covers how it applies in Lille.
