Google Vacation Rentals and TripAdvisor are search and metasearch channels: they show your property, rates and availability to travelers who have not decided where to book. Optimizing them means accurate listing content and photos, rate parity and availability across channels, and a direct booking link that is competitive with the OTAs.
Norfolk sells mostly through Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. On this coast, our STR pricing treats summer weeks as the core product. We set Saturday or Friday changeovers and seven-night minimums from mid-July to the end of August, with premiums near Henham Park for Latitude week. From September, we cut to three-night breaks and lift prices for dog-friendly homes, which are popular along the beaches at Holkham and Wells. Christmas and New Year weeks get premiums and minimum stays.
Airbnb leads for couples and short breaks, Vrbo and cottage agencies carry family weeks, and Booking.com helps hotels and inns. We keep weekly summer availability on family channels and open short breaks on Airbnb across autumn and winter, when couples book closer in.
The full service is described on our other ota optimization page; this page covers how it applies in Norfolk.
