Google Vacation Rentals and TripAdvisor are search and metasearch channels: they show your property, rates and availability to travelers who have not decided where to book. Optimizing them means accurate listing content and photos, rate parity and availability across channels, and a direct booking link that is competitive with the OTAs.
Asturias sells mostly through Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. Asturias rewards owners who think in weeks. In July and August, families book five to seven nights, so we set changeover days and avoid leaving short gaps between stays. Rural houses in the Picos are sold on views, hiking access and space for cars, while coastal homes are sold on beach distance. In winter we focus on weekend stays and long-stay offers, and on city apartments in Oviedo and Gijon, where demand persists.
Booking.com is strong for city hotels and short stays, while rural houses rely heavily on Airbnb, Vrbo and Spanish rural holiday portals. Domestic guests often book through Booking.com on mobile at short notice in summer. We keep parity, highlight parking and hiking access, and use Vrbo for larger family homes.
The full service is described on our other ota optimization page; this page covers how it applies in Asturias.
