Google Vacation Rentals and TripAdvisor are search and metasearch channels: they show your property, rates and availability to travelers who have not decided where to book. Optimizing them means accurate listing content and photos, rate parity and availability across channels, and a direct booking link that is competitive with the OTAs.
Alicante sells mostly through Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. On the Costa Blanca we price summer by the week, usually with Saturday or Sunday changeovers, because families book seven or fourteen nights and short gaps are hard to fill. From November to February we build monthly rate cards for winter long-stayers, often booked a year ahead by returning guests. Pool, sea views, lift access and air conditioning are the main premium features, and we price units with them clearly above comparable flats without.
Booking.com and Airbnb lead for shorter stays, while Vrbo is important for families booking villas and larger apartments for a week or more. Many winter guests book directly or return every year, so direct booking matters too. We keep parity, use Vrbo for weekly family stays, and push monthly offers to long-stay guests.
The full service is described on our other ota optimization page; this page covers how it applies in Alicante.
